Carrot granules are quality carrots that have been cleaned, peeled, cut, washed, blanched, dried and diced. The natural flavour and textures make them great for cooking soups, cakes and bakery mixes. They should be stored in a cool, dry place. Carrots are great sources of vitamins and minerals for a balanced diet.
Carrots tend to triple in volume when re-hydrated in boiling water. They take about 15 minutes to cook. Re-hydrating carrots in cold water are not a good substitute for raw carrots. Texture is not quite as good but the flavour is still there.
