Coconut Milk Powder is a natural source of medium chain triglycerides (MCTs) which are utilised for physical and mental energy. MCTs are not stored as body fat as readily as other fat sources, instead being metabolised as a fuel source. This specialised forms of fatty acids are popular with ketogenic and paleolithic diets, though are suitable for plant-based lifestyles and vegan diets.

Purewellness Coconut Milk Powder does not contain the dairy additives that most cheap powders do. Instead, a small amount of rice maltodextrin has been added to ensure ease of mixing and usage. This makes the Purewellness product dairy-free and suitable for lactose intolerance. Containing only 10.4mg of sodium per 100g of powder, this product is suitable for most keeping a close eye on their cardiovascular health.

How to Use Purewellness Coconut Milk Powder

Add 4 tbsps. of Coconut milk Powder to 1 cup of water and stir until combined. Alternatively add milk powder directly to smoothies, sprinkle over oat, quinoa porridge, fruit salads or yoghurt. This plant powder may also be used in raw foods like superfood balls, muesli bars, chia puddings and chocolate to add a lovely coconut flavour and milky-texture.

Use prepared coconut milk in place of other liquids in home-baked bread, biscuits and muffin recipes. Coconut Milk Powder is also suitable for savoury soups, hotpots and stir fries– anywhere you’d like to add a dash of coconut flavour.
