Beta Alanine


Beta-Alanine supplements may assist with acidity (caused by lactic acid), and subsequently fatigue, in muscles during high-intensity exercise.

A non-essential amino acid (meaning the body has the ability to synthesis it), Beta-Alanine, unlike most amino acids, is not used to make proteins – rather it combines with histadine to produce Carnosine – a protein building block found in skeletal muscle, heart tissues, the brain, and the liver. Carnosine may reduce the accumulation (buffering) of lactic acid  in muscles during exercise, therefore improving athletic performance, increasing muscle endurance and reducing fatigue.

Beta-Alanine may also assist with neuromuscular fatigue in older people and act as an antioxidant.

DIRECTIONS: Take 1.5g Twice Daily, Mixed into water or juice.
