BCAAs are a blend of the three Branched Chain Amino Acids (L-Valine, L-Leucine and L-Isoleucine). This product is in a ratio of 2:1:1, L-Leucine to L-Valine to L-Isoleucine. Branched Chain Amino Acids are named as such because of their unique branched chemical structure. These amino acids are termed essential because the body cannot make them from other amino acids, and hence requires them from diet or supplementation.
