But the deeper he ventured into the food industry, the more he witnessed practices that didn’t align with his values.
Jason saw brands prioritize profits over people’s well-being, cutting costs by compromising on quality. The result? Products filled with inferior fillers, ingredients sourced from questionable suppliers, and end-consumers unknowingly consuming less-than-ideal nutrition—all while paying inflated prices.
It didn’t sit right with him.
The products Jason meticulously formulated with high-quality ingredients were being diluted to meet pricing demands and layered with hefty retail markups. A product costing $4 to manufacture might end up retailing for $20 after passing through multiple distribution channels.
Jason knew there had to be a better way.
